Witness of The Time

Witness of The Time was a National Exhibition of Political Art presented by the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts at the UICA building on Race Street. The exhibition was curated by Sue Coe of New York and produced by the UICA Visual Arts Committee with leadership by Tim Lowly. The exhibit opened on September 30, 1988. The exhibit included works from 40 artists from across the US. It was supported in part with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
