Viget:Timeline

Viget has enabled Semantic functions which include the ability to graphically display timelines. The timelines are dynamically created using inline queries. Currently Viget is set up to enable timelines of Event Dates. The timeline slides back and forth through time with each event listed with a clickable marker. The timeline function was developed as part of the SIMILE project at MIT. SIMILE's work was then incorporated into the Semantic Mediawiki Extension.

Currently the timeline shows only some events from UICA. As more events are added the timelines grow. Try out the timeline by sliding it right and left to browse through time. Click on an event for a pop-up bubble with more info. Click the links in the bubble to go to the full page about the event.
