Anecdotes
Major shopping experiences at NBS
I frequented NBS a lot when I was a teenager. My three biggest memories are:
- When I bought a shark-skin tuxedo there for my junior prom. The pants were extra high-water, and my dad said, "You're actually going to spend your money on that?!?"
- When I bought a black biker jacket in 1998, while on Christmas vacation during my first year of college. My girlfriend at the time loved it. I've worn it to a zillion shows and still like it a lot.
- When I went to NBS to mourn its closing and check out the going-out-of-business clearance sale. I helped the owner move some stuff around. She gave me a shirt for lending her a hand.
