Emma Heemskerk
Emma Heemskerk was born with the help of Marge Trumbull, a local Midwife.
While in Grand Rapids, she was involved in working with different non-profit organizations such as Nokomis Foundation and the Jane Hibbard Idema Women's Studies Center, as well as being instrumental in the formation of The DAAC. She was an Eastown resident for 24 years. Graduating from Aquinas College, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio art. She now lives and works in Chicago.
