School Year:
Calvin College's school year is broken out into two semesters, with a one month interim in between. During interim, most students take one class only, and are encouraged to take classes outside of their field of study.
Controversy:
On the Calvin College property is the West Michigan Research Lab (WMRL). The WMRL is a facility that is operated in a partnership between Spectrum Health and Calvin College. The facility is AAALAC accredited for the humane treatment of animals.
