The Barefield-Holland-Tabbal-Trio played a concert of Jazz and New Music at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts on February 5, 1988. The trio included A. Spencer Barefield, Anthony Holland, and Tarri Tabbal from Detroit. The concert was held in the performance space in the UICA building on Race Street. It was curated and produced by the UICA Music Committee and supported in part with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
